Cartier Tank Louis - 78086 Swiss Dial

DIAL: The original, lacquered, white enamel dial is in great shape. These dials were very prone to having a cracking in the lacquer. The lacquer appears to be completely free of any cracking and is beautiful condition. 

CASE: 23mm  width x 30mm height solid 18kt yellow gold. This example has a strong case with deep swiss hallmarks. These case dimensions is the vintage "mens" size however could easily be worn by woman as well. It presents with wear commensurate for its age. It is completed by its original blue sapphire cabochon crown.  On the caseback there is an inscription that reads " Alan Rosenblat with thanks HEF." 

MOVEMENT: Cartier caliber 78-1. Service history is unknown. The watch winds, sets, runs and is keeping great time. It was placed on a timegrapher which illustrated the watch is losing a mere 3 seconds per day and has a healthy amplitude of 290. The watch can be serviced for approximately $325 plus parts (if needed) at which point it will come with a one year warranty. 

BRACELET: Comes on the pictured, Italian, handmade strap from TorreStraps.
