Hamilton Accumatic A-602 w/ original box

     The Beatles came to America, Cassius Clay became Muhammad Ali and the New York Mets played their first game at Shea Stadium. The year was 1964 and the Hamilton Accumatic A-602 was born. It was released with a modest price tag of $79.50 on a bracelet. It featured an ETA base Hamilton self winding caliber which powered a beautiful tri-tone dial. Its run was short lived as it was only in production for a single year. History has seen its fair share of one hit wonders. Just ask Lou Bega about his #5. Then there are those who perhaps wish they would have stopped after just one. Could it really have gotten any better than Mr. Curtis James debut. Would it not have been to release his debut album and sail off into the sea. An emblematic mic drop. After all, how many have continued only for us to watch their careers deteriorate before our eyes. DIAL: An original, three-tone dial. The dial is non luminous. The inner and outer portions of the dial features a sunburst finish. Additionally, there is a two-part distinctly separate silver chapter rings that feature the hour markers and minute track. The dial appears to be free of any imperfections and is wonderful condition.

CASE: The mm 10k yellow rolled gold plated case is in good shape. The case has been lightly polished in the past. It presents with light wear commensurate its age. It is completed by the watches original crown. 

MOVEMENT: Automatic ETA based caliber 689. The movement was serviced in July 11 of 2023. There is approximately 2 months remaining on the 1 year warranty. 

BRACELET: On what appears to be the original bracelet as evidenced by the original ad from 1964. 

ACCESSORIES: Original box and bracelet.

BOX/PAPERS: Box. No papers.
