Herodia, a company born in 1948, was founded by Henri Bargenter - a swiss trained mechanical watchmaker. Initially the brand was named “Montres Herodia.” In 1950 the brand moved their operations to Geneve and within a few years began to grow the company with distribution to other countries as well.Â

DIAL: The original white, non luminous, pie pan dial has aged to a dark beige. The center features a crosshair w/ waffle pattern and it is contrasted with a smooth minute track. The dial is completed with rose gold hour markers and beautiful dauphine hands.Â
CASE: The 35mm 18kt Rose Gold case is in great condition. The hallmarks on the screw down case back are all present and very crisp. The case appears to be lightly polished in the past and has some light wear commensurate with age.Â
MOVEMENT: Felsa Cal. 1560 automatic, sweep second, 30 jewel movement. Service history is unknown. Servicing the movement in the future is recommended to improve the longevity of the movement.Â
