King Seiko 45KS

Relatively uncommon as far as king seikos go. The movement is differentiated from other chronometer grades from seiko due to improved accuracy which is defined at -3 to +6 secs/day.  This upgraded movement is denoted by an extra line of text on the dial “superlative” which oftentimes was reserved for Seikos highest offerings - “Grand Seiko.”

CASE: The 37 x 42.5 steel case is in good shape showing only light, superficial wear throughout. The stainless steel case back has the desirable KS medallion which is well preserved and in fine condition. The crown is a replacement and not original to the watch. 

DIAL: The white, sunburst dial is clean save for some very light staining that can be noted under certain lighting conditions near the 5 o’clock hour marker. The dial features stick indices that are beautifully finished. The matching hands, applied SEIKO and KS finish off the dial that sets the tone for an overall really attractive dial that reflects lighting. 

MOVEMENT: Caliber 4500A,  manually wound, 25 jewel with 36000BPM. There appears to be some screws in the movement that were replaced in the place during previous services.
