Longines Conquest - 9020
Longines Conquest - 9020
Beginning in 1954, Longines began to introduce a new product development strategy which involved the establishment of product families - model lines if you will- that started with the Conquest. At the time of their introduction, the conquest family was marketed to the public as a tool watch emphasizing their utility for exploration. They featured screw down casebacks with an attractive fish motif medallion when configured in steel. This particular example, a second series Conquest from 1960 features a no-date linen dial that is fantastically preserved.
