Omega Automatic - 14kt Yellow Gold w/ original strap and buckle

     One of the aspects that I enjoy about vintage watches is the milestones they often times symbolize. It was commonplace for a gentleman or lady to commemorate an achievement or life event with a purchase of a luxury item like a nice timepiece. Businesses also practiced in similar fashion. It wasn't uncommon for a corporation to gift a watch to loyal employee following completion of prespecified years of employment. Unfortunately, these practices are long gone nowadays but speak to me personally. Its part of what makes vintage watches so interesting. These stories harken back to a time where watches meant something. There was a story behind them. Those stories coupled with the difference in how each example would age overtime make them unique. Distinctly separate from the same mass produced modern models that we see today. In a world where everything is the same, having a unique watch on your wrist speaks to me personally.

CASE: The  14kt solid yellow gold 34mm case is in good condition.  The case illustrates light wear throughout commensurate with its age. It has an engraving on the caseback that reads "John J. Lisella 11-17-49 - 11-17-69 BUNDY CORPORATION " - presumably the original owner of the watch commemorating his 20 year work anniversary. The case is completed by its original crown.

DIAL: A beautiful, original, shimmering silver sunburst dial. The dial is relatively clean save for some very very faint specking/spotting in certain locations. It features stick hour indices and pencil hands. It is a a non-luminous dial. 

MOVEMENT:  Omega manual winding movement. Service history is unknown. The watch winds, sets and runs. The watch was placed on a timegrapher which illustrated that the watch is losing 3 seconds per day with a healthy amplitude of 255. The watch can be serviced for $300 plus any parts if needed at which point it will come with a 1 year warranty. 

BRACELET:  Comes on its original, Omega leather strap. 

ACCESSORIES: Original Omega buckle and original Omega strap.
