One of the aspects that I enjoy about vintage watches is the milestones they often times symbolize. It was commonplace for a gentleman or lady to commemorate an achievement or life event with a purchase of a luxury item like a nice timepiece. Businesses also practiced in similar fashion. It wasn't uncommon for a corporation to gift a watch to loyal employee following completion of prespecified years of employment. Unfortunately, these practices are long gone nowadays but speak to me personally. Its part of what makes vintage watches so interesting. These stories harken back to a time where watches meant something. There was a story behind them. Those stories coupled with the difference in how each example would age overtime make them unique. Distinctly separate from the same mass produced modern models that we see today. In a world where everything is the same, having a unique watch on your wrist speaks to me personally.

The dial appears to be free of any staining, scratches, blemishes or otherwise imperfections. .It features a day/date complication at the 3 o'clock position. The watch winds, sets and runs. The watch was placed on a timegrapher which illustrated that the watch is losing 7 seconds per day with a healthy amplitude of 252.
