"But look closer. But look closer still. Look at the "A" in "Tiffany" and see a picture of me as a young child." - John Mayer on the 1st episode of "Talking Watches"

It's true. Take a look at this  Omega and it will look like a very clean example of your everyday, normal, very charming 1960's Seamaster. But upon closer examination you'll see an extra line of text that you just don't see everyday .. "Meister."
Meister was a high end retail store located in Switzerland. Back in the 1960's and 1970's Meister - similar to Tiffany's & Rolex - received watches from Omega at which point in time they were then allowed to stamp the name of their retail store directly on the dial.
This, at least to me personally, is what I love about vintage watches. Something so simple, unassuming, understated and completely under the radar. It looks like a normal seamaster until you take a closer look. Make no mistake - from a technical standpoint it is no way superior to its non Meister branded Seamaster brother. There are though less double stamped Meister dial seamasters floating around. For those - like me - who are into owning something more unique and rare its worth paying a little bit of a premium for. We are extremely pleased to be offering this example here in our vintage watch shop.
