Omega Seamaster: Unpolished, serviced w/ 1yr warranty - My Personal Collection

     In 1948, Omega introduced it's Seamaster Line. Today, it remains Omega's longest continuous running production model. Originally, it was released with the advertising catch phrase: "For town, sea and country." A nod to the intent behind the design. A watch that could go anywhere and do anything. Perfect for every type of occasion, the Omega Seamaster was introduced with the references 2577 and 2576.
     This example, a reference 2828, is of historical significance.  It features Omegas automatic, self winding caliber 470/471 - the first caliber that Omega ever manufactured that features a 360 degree winding rotor. To further this specific Seamaster 2828 examples desirability we have a dial that has uniquely developed red confetti patina on the palest of lemon backdrop. Finally, the watch is encased in a stainless steel case that, to this day, remains completely unpolished.

CASE: The 32mm steel case is in excellent condition and remains completely unpolished. It presents with minimal wear from use. The case is complete by the watches original, flat foot, clover crown. The crystal was replaced sometime in the past.

DIAL:  The original omega silver dial has patinated beautifully. It has uniquely developed a red confetti patina on the palest of lemon backdrop. It features dagger style hour markers and dauphine hands. 

MOVEMENT:  The Omega automatic, self winding, caliber 470/1 has just been fully overhauled and comes with a 1yr mechanical warranty. 

BRACELET: Will come on the pictured Jean Rousseau leather strap. 

ACCESSORIES: Comes with itemized invoice from the service and one year warranty. The service cost totaled $300. Also comes with an OEM Omega vintage style buckle on the strap.  

BOX/PAPERS: No. 

WARRANTY: 1 year mechanical warranty on the movement starting on 05/08/23.
