Omega Dress Watch

     This watch is a classic example of a vintage formal men’s wrist watch. 2 hands, ultra slim at 8mm designed to slide under a double cuff wearing black tie- diminutive in size to be discreet and elegant. Although watches like these are considered small by today’s standards- they are the ultimate in formality if a timepiece is desired in formal attire. As an aside, these watches have become hugely popular with women as well due to their classic styling and perfect proportions.
     The gold capped over steel case is in good condition showing wear commensurate with its age. The silver sunburst dial shows some patina but has aged attractively. It is currently wearing a bright blue strap with vintage 14mm gold Omega buckle. Although these watches were typically always worn on a sleek black strap, we couldn’t help but having a little fun with this one.

DIAL: The original Omega silver sunburst is in good condition. The dial presents with some uneven spotting that has developed over time. It sports stick hour indices and matching hands.

CASE: The 28mm gold capped over steel case is in good shape. It sits slim at just over 8mm thick. The case shows wear commensurate with its age. The crown was replaced by a more modern, authentic, Omega replacement crown in the past. 

MOVEMENT: Omega manually wound movement. The service history is unknown. The watch winds, sets and runs, Currently keeping good time.

BRACELET: Blue croc stamped leather with period correct factory fold buckle
