Vacheron & Constantin 4073 - Steel w/ Two Tone Gold Dial and Extract from Archives

CASE: The 34mm stainless steel case is in great shape. The case has been polished in the past. The midcase and case back has been rebrushed and the anterior lugs have been given more of mirror polish. It presents with minimal wear. The case is 2x signed, matching and is confirmed by the extract. 

DIAL:  An absolutely fantastic two tone gold dial. The dial is untouched and presents with no signs of cleaning - an anomaly for vintage Vacheron. The maisons signature "Vacheron & Constantin Geneve", the subsidiary seconds markers and outer minute track were done in engraved enamel. The dial presents with very minor imperfections. Please note that photos are taken on a 50mm macro lens which magnify imperfections. On the wrist most are hardly noticeable. 

MOVEMENT: Vacheron manually wound caliber 453. Vacheron's finishing prowess that they had come to be known for by the mid twentieth century is on full display as we see a myriad of finishing techniques including cotes de Genève, pearlage, anglage and black polishing. The service history is unknown. The watch can be serviced for $350 plus any parts that may be needed. If serviced the watch will come with a one year mechanical warranty dated from completion of service.
