Vacheron & Constantin 4217 in Pink Gold - Unpolished.

CASE: The 34mm solid 18kt pink gold case is in excellent shape. I believe the case remains unpolished after all these years. The hallmarks are extremely well defined and deep with crsip lines. The midcase illustrates the maisons original satin finish. Additionally, the caseback also illustrates the original brushed finish. The case is 2x signed and matching. The crown is original. Overall, remaining unpolished and in this condition after all these years is exceedingly difficult to find. A true survivor. 

DIAL:  The original engraved enamel dial appears to be uncleaned. The integrity of the maisons signature "Vacheron & Constantin Geneve", and the minute track are strong and defined. The dial appears to be free of any major blemishes or imperfections. It features alternating even Arabic numerals and dagger hour markers. It is completed by its original pink gold pencil hour/minute hands. The seconds hand is in steel and has originally undergone blueing treatment by the maison itself. 

MOVEMENT: Vacheron manually wound caliber 454. Vacheron's finishing prowess that they had come to be known for by the mid twentieth century is on full display as we see a myriad of finishing techniques including cotes de Genève, pearlage, anglage and black polishing.  The service history is unknown. The watch was placed on a timegrapher which illustrated that it is keeping time within 10 seconds per day and has an amplitude of 313.
