Vacheron & Constantin 6038 in Yellow Gold

CASE: The 35mm solid 18kt yellow gold case is in good shape. The case has been polished in the past. The hallmarks are about as well defined, deep and crisp. 

DIAL:  The original silver dial is in great shape. The signature "Vacheron & Constantin Geneve" is done in engraved enamel. The integrity of the maisons signature "Vacheron & Constantin Geneve", remains well defined. The dial does not appear to have been cleaned which is very rare for vintage enamel dials. It features dagger style hour markers. It is completed by its original yellow gold pencil hour, minute and seconds hands. 

MOVEMENT: Vacheron automatically wound caliber 1071. This was Vacheron's answer to Patek's famed caliber 12-600 AT. This movements finishing is on full display with various techniques including cotes de Genève, pearlage, anglage and black polishing. The movement is Geneva sealed and features an 18kt tipped guilloche rotor. The service history is unknown. The watch was placed on a timegrapher which illustrated that it is keeping time within 10 seconds per day and has an amplitude of 254. The watch can be serviced for $400 plus parts if any are needed. If serviced the watch will come with a one year warranty dated from the completion of service.
