Vintage Cartier Ceinture - Serviced by Cartier

ABOUT THIS WATCH:

DIAL: We have an original, early, lacquered, white enamel dial. The early dial is correct for this example given the low serial number. The lacquer exhibits cracking or "spidering" that these dials are prone to suffering. There is also two chips that can be seen in the detailed photographs. The hands might have been replaced in the past. 

CASE: The 25mm x 25mm solid 18kt yellow gold case is very strong. The caseback still exhibits the original vertically brushed finish. The hallmarks, serial and signature are all deep and crisp. The case is completed by its original crown. 

MOVEMENT: Cartier caliber 78-1. The watch has just returned from service by Cartier in King of Prussia, PA. The bill for service was $586.18. 

BRACELET/STRAP: Comes on the watches original strap complete with its original 18kt yellow gold deployment buckle. 

ACCESSORIES: Cartier exterior bag, Cartier marked cloth watch pouch and pillow, Cartier marked envelope and invoice/receipt for service recently completed on the watch. 

BOX/PAPERS: No original box or papers. Service papers from Cartier. 

WARRANTY: Buyer will have to inquire with Cartier to see if any warranty is provided for the service.
