Vintage Omega Military style watch 2523

YEAR: 1947

CASE: The previously polished 33mm is in fair- shape. The case presents with even wear throughout commensurate with its 77 years of age. The crystal has been replaced sometime in the past. The case back has many marks from tools attempting to unscrew the case back sometime in the past. There is a good deal of wear to the watches crown. 

DIAL: The original silver dial has aged over time to an off white patina. It presents with rather even spotting throughout. It features printed Arabic numeral style hour markers and syringe hands. The radium lume on the dial has washed off in some places while the lume that the dial has retained has aged to a camo green. The lume in the syringe hands has patinated to a beautiful pastel orange. 

MOVEMENT:  Omega manually wound caliber 230. Service history is unknown. The watch winds, sets, and runs. The watch was placed on a timegrapher which illustrated that it is keeping time within 63 seconds per day and has an amplitude of 318. The watch can be serviced for $325 plus parts (if necessary). If serviced the watch will come with a one year warranty. 

BRACELET: Comes on the pictured strap.
